Joe Exotic could be a step closer to freedom, with Donald Trump confirming he will look into pardoning the ‘Tiger King’ star who is currently serving 22 years in prison for a murder-for-hire plot and animal cruelty charges.
“I’ll take a look,” Trump told reporters during a White House briefing when questioned about his son’s support for a pardon.
“Now, I don’t even know exactly what he was charged with… I watched the show, but it was like, I don’t know exactly what he was guilty of or wasn’t.
“It doesn’t seem like he was totally innocent of anything. But when they’re saying, we’re putting this guy away for thirty years, I’m saying that seems sort of aggressive,” said Trump Jr.
Seems like a valid point… Maybe we should get Kimmy K onto the case.
Trump admitted he hadn’t yet watched the Netflix smash hit and quizzed reporters about what he did and if they thought he was guilty. (We’re sure if he tuned in, he’d hate ‘that bitch’ Carole Baskin too)
Trump said, ‘Do you think he didn’t do it? Are you on his side? Are you recommending a pardon?”
Last month Joe Exotic issued a call for a pardon from Trump and announced on his Facebook a $94 million lawsuit against the federal government.
