Taylor Swift Just Owned Scooter Braun Again and Her Take-Down Is Legendary

Taylor Swift has hit out at Scooter Braun in a legendary Instastory take-down. The 30-year-old labelled Braun ’shameless’ and greedy after he released an album containing her live performances from when she was 18 without her permission. The pair have been feuding publicly since Braun took over ownership of Swift’s master recordings last year when his company, Ithaca Holdings, acquired Big Machine.

Swift has been vocal since the takeover, publicly stating she believed the deal was incredibly unfair. She's definitely had the last laugh, announcing last year she'd be re-recording all her albums to ensure she owns her own music. Today, Swift took to Instagram to inform her 131m followers that she wanted to let them know the release was not approved by her.

“In my opinion, just another case of shameless greed in the time of Coronavirus,” she added. “So tasteless, but very transparent.”

Big Machine and Braun are yet to publicly comment. Just another reason to love Taylor Swift.
