MAFS’ Stacey Hampton has revealed the meaning behind the large stomach tattoo that became key evidence in the salacious cheating allegations laid against her.
The law graduate was left shell-shocked when fellow bride Natasha Spencer accused her of having a one-night stand with her experimental partner, Mikey Pembroke.
In an explosive final toast, Natasha slammed Stacey for being a hypocrite, revealing the mother of two had slept with Mikey on their one-month wedding anniversary.
The cheating was alleged to have happened following rumours broke that Stacey’s husband Michael Goonan had kissed controversial MAFS bride, Hayley Vernon.
Stacey passionately denied the claims, sparking Mikey to present the undisputedly evidence to the court of MAFS.
The nursing home operations manager divulged private text messages between the pair, as well as revealing details about Stacey’s secret tattoo that stretches across her stomach.
Stacey has now taken over the narrative of her secret tattoo on her YouTube channel confirming speculation it was a tribute to her late brother.
“Everyone keeps asking me about this. I hide my stomach tattoo and I’m getting all my little ones lasered off,” she said.
“My stomach tattoo is very sentimental. When my brother died, I was pregnant with my firstborn. So, after he was born, I got a tribute on my stomach.
The 26-year-old shared she is self-conscious of her tattoo and likes to keep it private. She went to great lengths to hide her tattoo during filming of MAFS, even going as far as wearing high-waisted shorts while swimming at ex-husband Michael’s pool.
“I may or may. Not post a close-up one day, but it’s very sentimental to me. Even with bikinis I’ll wear a one-piece or put a sarong over it.”
Photos shared on Instagram show the tattoo is very intricate featuring black and white geometric shapes, alongside Stacey’s brother’s name and the phrase ‘forever young’.
