Reality TV fans were sent into a frenzy this week when new Bachelor Locky Gilbert popped up in an Instagram live of former MAFS contestant, Aleks Markovic. The Insta-live fail sparked rumours that the two are dating… which isn’t a great look for the Bachelor franchise. Filming of the latest series with Lachy is of course on hold, due to Covid-19. Today, Aleks spoke out about the rumours out on Kyle and Jackie O, saying it was all completely innocent.
“I mean really, like I’m still filing my divorce papers, do you think I’d be rooting someone already?” Aleks joked. Alex went on to tell Kyle and Jackie O that she and Locky share a mutual friend and it was the first time she’d ever met him, but did admit he was her type. “No no, Locky was definitely not at my house that’s for sure, we’re just friends of a friend,” Aleks said. “I mean he’s definitely, you know my thing is tall dark and handsome and Locky’s definitely that but I think he’s going to find his soul mate on the show from what he was saying to me, so I wish him all the best, but it’s definitely not me,” Aleks said.
She went on to explain that the friend of a friend is actually an old female school friend of hers and they just happened to be in the same place at the same time.
She also reiterated women can actually be friends with men without anything going on. While we definitely know that's true we wonder what the new Bachie girls will make of it all.
