While 2020 will go down in the history books thanks to the pandemic that shut down the world, it will also be remembered as one of the worst years for our hair.
Left to our own devices, many of us have opted to either cut our own hair, or foolishly enlisted the help of a loved one with often disastrous consequences. While many men threatened their girlfriends they’d shave off all their hair, it appears a new, more terrifying trend has emerged… the bleach blonde box dye job.
One of the first to unveil his new blonde locks was influencer Johnathon Sauer, who admitted he'd intended on going blonde for Coachella. When the event got cancelled he thought f**k it let's do it anyway.... wrong decision.
Johnathon debuted his new hair on Instagram alongside a caption that read 'Carole Baskin made me do it.' Now, let's not blame that crazy biatch for everything.
Next to get onboard was former MAFS contestant Michael Brunelli. While he didn't announce the new hair style online, fans were quick to bombard his comments telling him he needed to get rid of the blonde ASAP.
It's not just influencers turning to the peroxide, former Carlton star Brendan Fevola has hit up the hair dye.
Unlike Michael's comments, Fev was inundated with support for his new do, with many confessing they weirdly like it.
Parramatta Eels player Dylan Brown also went blondes, as did NRL star Shaun Johnson.
The weirdest part of all of this is, give it a few weeks and their regrowth will be next level. Then they can torture all their partners by shaving it off.
