This is not a drill… I repeat, this is not a drill… Hilary Duff is set to star in her off spinoff show of popular television series Younger. Anyone else been waiting for this day since we said goodbye to Lizzie McGuire in 2004?
Since departing the Nickelodeon hit, Duff has of course had huge success in music and movies, as well as bringing out the best bloody perfume I’ve ever smelt… I wish she’d bring With Love back! However, it’s been 16 long years since she’s been the main character in a TV show and I for one am living for it.
The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Younger is currently in the early stages of development of the new spin off, which will be based around the So Yesterday singers’ character Kelsey Peters.
Younger creator Darren Star is reportedly involved in the project, which is good news for the spin off. I’m just putting it out there, if this ends up being a tease like the highly-anticipated Lizzie McGuire reboot on Disney+, I’m not going to be happy.
