Former Beauty and the Geek star Jordan Finlayson has been sentenced to a maximum of four years and three months in jail after pleading guilty to drug supply charges. The 29-year-old, who was previously a cheerleader for the NRL and NBL, wept in court as she heard the sentence brought down by District Court Judge Phillip Mahony.
Finlayson and her then-boyfriend, Martin Roser, were arrested on June 14 last year after dealing tens of thousands of dollars worth of drugs to an undercover police office. At the time, Finlayson was on parole for a less serious drug offence. Fans of Beauty and the Geek will remember the former cheerleader came runner-up in the hit show in 2011 and even dated her 'geek' Lachlan Cosgrave after the show wrapped.

Earlier Finlayson told the court her life had spiraled out of control after her fleeting 15 minutes of fame on the Channel Seven reality show and said being in jail now had potentially saved her life. While the former reality contestant was handed down a non-parole period of two years and three months, the judge said Finlayson could be eligible for parole in September, on the condition she immediately checks herself into rehab at a clinic in Byron Bay.
